On this week's reflection blog I will show you the work that I have been up to and the progress that has been made on projects.etc. Through out the week, I have been working hard to get work done, like: Digital literacy and progress on my ILE (individual learning endeavor).
For my groups digital literacy, there were a few problems with the presentation side of the lesson being a bit plain and boring, this is not a very good thing because a boring presentation means a boring class. To make the presentation more interesting, myself and my group decided to jazz it up a little and add a few pictures and transitions, with some animations as well. Some unnecessary information was also removed that did not add to the class and was not needed in the end product. The group's Digital literacy project seems to be up to scratch now and should be ready to teach when ever needed.
In my free time I have been hard at work learning more about my ILE project and trying to get the hang of the techniques. If you didn't know yet, my ILE (individual learning endeavor) is about taking time lapse photography and expanding my knowledge when it comes to photography. What time lapse photography is, is setting up a camera to take a single picture every set time of seconds. (eg. 1 picture every 2 seconds) The user then sets up the camera to carry on taking pictures at that interval for a set amount of time. (eg. 24 mins) Once the pictures have been taken it looks like a stop motion video, you then take the pictures taken and then put them in a video editing software to then speed up the pictures playing to make what looks like a video. I shall give an example down below here which will show you my 2nd ever attempt at time lapse photography
(picture interval: 2 seconds, Time taking pictures: 24 mins, Final video time: 24 seconds)
