Completed Octahedron, used a youtube channel to help me get the instructions and make the shape. Worked fine with no real difficulties
Use this for good instuctions https://www.youtube.com/user/jeremyshaferorigami/videos Today I completed the smart goal planning sheet which then allowed me to start my "Origami in Geometry" project.
The smart goal planning sheet included: Specific goals to complete and who, what, when, where, which, why and how. These goals helped me understand my project even more into detail and give me more knowledge of what needs to be completed in a certain order. The project is attainable with a small and cheap amount of resources and realistic goals. Origami isn't easy, however with work and persistence origami for use in maths classes can be achieved. USE THIS TO HELP: Click Here if that doesn't work: http://www.origami-resource-center.com/modular.html Origami can be used in multiple classes and subjects, however I personally think that origami can be used mainly in geometry to show students what certain shapes look like, how there made and what there names are. Origami is a very useful, relaxing, social and educational way to learn geometry.
Today the class and I learned about our ILE project and what other schools have done, What we can do and how to carry our project out which included the help of a packet of information about what 20% time is.etc
